But there are two more things worth writing…

1. Our surnames are usually set by the type of work we do. For example, Radheshyam Pramanik, Kanchan Karmakar, Suresh Sutradhar, Kunal Ganjawala, Shefali Jariwala etc.
Many new types of jobs are getting created every day. Herds of people are working in the IT sector. The day is not far away when people will be called something like: Bipin BPO, Kaltu Call-Centre, Ipsita ITwala, Sukanta Software etc.

2. The Singur row:
From the day one the WB Govt. is facing problems in land acquisition in Singur. The fencing operation is facing problems everyday. But they (WB Govt.) don’t understand a thing, বেড়াবেড়িতে বেড়া দিতে গেলে বাড়াবাড়ি তো হবেই।
