An (Un?)Contemporary thesis on Paach Dhila Syndrome (PDS)
---------------------------------------- By Zoydip --------------------------------------------------

Panch Dhila Syndrome or PDS is a very common issue among 'chaap khawa public' in the age group 12 to 80 (the upper limit may be slightly extended for people like ex. CM of West Bengal) who are very much tired by fighting with his/her own shadow. Although it is not clearly visible at the initial stage, but may take a greater form gradually.

The PDS is usually first detected by the people who hold the screw driver.

In fact, the level and impact of PDS highly depends on the screw driver used and the person holding the screw driver. So, proper care in behalf of the screw driver operator can greatly decrease the issues of PDS.

PDS is also known as 'khyapami' (e.g. 'Daasur Khyapami'), Paglami (e.g.'Paagla Jogai') etc.

People suffering from a matured level of PDS can be categorized as given below:

1. Boddho Paagol:
------------------
It is a very advanced stage of PDS. The people suffering forget the feeling that they are actually suffering.

2. Hoddo Paagol
-----------------
It is the stage just before boddho paagol. The sufferer still has the feeling that something unusual is happening to them. But the people around them are convinced.

3. Hoyto Paagol
-----------------
It is a very early stage of PDS. The symptoms starts showing up but not get proved properly. A proper care at this stage on behalf of the people holding screw drivers can greatly decrease the risk.

4. Seyana Paagol
----------------
This is not actually case of PDS. The person concerned clearly knows that he/she is not suffering from PDS and carefully manipulates his/her behavior to give an impression of 'Hoyto Paagol'. This category of PDS is often misinterpreted with 'Nyakami' (especially in the case of women). But these two are very different.

Furthur Study:
----------------
Interested people may refer to the works of the famous plucker of PDS in Bengal called 'Manna Dey'. Especially his work called: 'Jodi keu aamake paagol bole...'
